Pro Staff is looking for an Extrusion / Plate-Saw Operator for one of our clients in the Milwaukee, WI area! They are currently seeking experienced candidates to join their team! Candidates should be proactive, reliable, and interested in working long-term for a company as this is a temporary-to-hire opportunity! 

Job Duties: 

•Set-up and operate a high speed precision saw
•Saw close tolerance dimensions for a variety of plate and extrusion items.
•Install blades
•Replenish fluid for lubrication system when necessary 
•Remove chips from collection system when needed
•Inspect material for quality.
•Lay out and arrange material.
•Utilize overhead crane, forklift, or other material handling equipment for handling/moving material. 
•Operate and understand Veneers Calipers, Micrometers, and other measuring devices
•Recognize operating irregularities and machine malfunctions and notify supervisors 
•Other job duties as assigned 

Job Requirements: 

•High school diploma or equivalent 
•1-2+ years of setup and operating experience
•Material handling experience is a plus
•Previous familiarity with overhead and regular material handling equipment 
•Previous forklift experience is required
•Basic computer and data entry skills 
•Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., either frequently or infrequently 
•Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
•Reliable means of transportation
•Safety glasses and Steel-toed shoes are required on the shop floor
•Ability to work in a moderate-to-loud work environment 
•Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
