Traveling Containment Technician
Job Details
Pro Staff has partnered with a supply company and are seeking a Traveling Containment Technician! This direct hire position is based in Shakopee, Minnesota but would require traveling around the Twin Cities. Some job duties for this role include performing audits on incoming materials using a variety of tools and techniques. This opportunity has the hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday and pays $17 per hour plus mileage. Qualified candidates will have experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges while having the ability to read blueprints.

You can also call the Burnsville Pro Staff at 952-892-3240 with the reference ID: 545982 Job Duties: Perform audits on incoming materials to using tools and visual techniques Rework, sort and/or scrapping non-conforming material Use methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly Use hand tools or equipment to grind, sand, clean and oil parts Read blueprints to determine tolerance of parts Working closely with the customer Other duties as assigned Requirements: Ability to use hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and sanders Ability to read blueprints Understanding of materials and production processes Understanding of quality control methods Ability to life up to 50 lbs Must be able to work in a hot and loud environment Ability to meet the physical demands Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must be comfortable using steel toed boots Ability to meet client requirements
