JOB SUMMARY: The International Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all activities relating to the shipping of components, confirming and maintaining the completed order of required documents. They will assist the warehouse in confirming actual inventory and will help expedite the shipping process. They also access sources to locate cost beneficial shipping, that is customer focused. Knowledge of International Export/Import documentation requirements including INCOTERMS 2010 and harmonized codes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB SUMMARY: The International Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all activities relating to the shipping of components, confirming and maintaining the completed order of required documents. They will assist the warehouse in confirming actual inventory and will help expedite the shipping process. They also access sources to locate cost beneficial shipping, that is customer focused. Knowledge of International Export/Import documentation requirements including INCOTERMS 2010 and harmonized codes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with approved carriers, builds those relationships while expediting the shipments and controlling cost of Import/Export shipments.
- Provides fast and efficient responses to inquiries from customers and shipping partners
- Provides and completes all documentation for Import/Export shipments.
- Keeps everyone informed as to status of shipments using excellent communication skills
- Posting and managing shipments using web based tools and websites
- Arrange and coordinate transportation for shipments from various domestic and International ports for both Import and Export shipments.
- 3-5 years of Import/Export Logistics experience.
- Some college required, 4 year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, etc a plus.
- Ability to obtain quotes for multiple types of shipments and identify and solve logistical problems hindering order fulfillment.
- Ability to complete export customs paperwork for worldwide shipments with an emphasis on Canada and Mexico documentation requirements.
- Experience also preferred in traffic dispatching, order tracking, shipment cost analysis, rate quotations and customs Import/Export compliance.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese or Japanese a plus.
