Position Description

This position is responsible to deliver instuctor-led curriculum with the intent of readying resources for system and process changes to ensure adoption. Assist with development of learning content and curriculum for specific learning programs related to clinical and appeals & grievances. Collaborate with instructional designer, process analyst, and organizational change management (OCM) lead to prepare SMEs to conduct training sessions and support the business post go live.

• Act as lead trainer by facilitating training, supporting other trainers, addressing training logistics, coordinating and organizing other training sessions, and driving the deployment of training.

• Assist in the development of training outcomes, identify and implement improvements; develop reporting for measurement of training needs and results through surveys, evaluation forms, interviews with staff, or consultations with leadership staff.

• Collaborate with Instructional Designer to maintain and implement training curriculum materials.

• Utilize standards for templates and materials supporting new content and curriculum development, as needed.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.


Four-year college degree in teaching, business, human resources or closely related field; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Certification from talent and training associations highly desired.

Required Experience

Two years' experience with training and training program development. Experience with adult learning principles. Proficient in MS Office.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in health insurance or managed care environment. ASTD/APTD/CPLP certification.

Experience with e-learning applications.
