Primary Function:

The Lead Process Mgr, Fulfillment will manage a strategic initiative supporting critical Drop Ship Operations metrics. This role will be focused on solving network level problems and inventing future state capabilities across the total network in support of critical supply chain metrics. This position will work with Sr. Operations Analysts and a broad set of supply chain stakeholders, MBS, EDABI, OMS, EDI, and various other internal teams to ensure capabilities are built and metric improvements are achieved.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Role is self-directed and requires strategy development, problem solving, independent judgement and decision making around continuous improvements and supply chain evolution
  • Leads capability work for Drop Ship order management program and critical work streams that support the program including creating projects to address order management gaps across the DVS network
  • Understands business challenges, thinks strategically to solve business challenges and makes data driven decisions to inform what work to prioritize across the team to address order management related issues.
  • Responsible for driving improvements in fulfillment metrics such as On-Time Ship, Fill Rate, and Quality
  • Communicates metric updates to key leadership group on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborates extensively with internal teams, providing thought leadership and ensuring appropriate team members are aligned around similar goals and objectives
  • Inspires others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction
  • Fosters a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverages resources to overcome unexpected obstacles
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn, seeks out new opportunities, approaches work with curiosity and resiliency
  • Displays exceptional thought leadership

Minimum Requirements:
  • 5-7 years supply chain or supply chain support area experience
  • Strategic thought leadership
  • Demonstrates leadership ability, with ability to engage and motivate others
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Comfortable self-directing, self-motivating and figuring out the optimal path forward where not defined
  • Proven ability to work among ambiguous direction and fast paced environments
  • Process improvement and/or design experience including Six Sigma
  • Proven ability to solve problems with little guidance using data and analytics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - will interact with internal and external leadership on a recurring basis
  • Proven data mining and analysis skills

Desired Requirements:
  • Enterprise experience, including roles outside of supply chain
  • Understanding of multiple areas of the supply chain or business types (i.e. transportation, direct to guest / fulfillment, stores)
  • Broad interests and an inherently curious mind for problem solving / future orientation
