Senior Engineer

Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for supporting software application development and engineering products. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) programmatically reading and processing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) documents including 204, 990, 214, 210 for Supply chain operations; (2) working with JDA Transportation Management system using the UI and web API service; (3) working with Supply Chain Transportation related finance operations and processes including Vouchering, Freight Bill matching, and Automated Controls for Balancing and Reconciliation; (4) building Java/Spring applications and integrating systems using Apache Kafka messaging service and RESTful APIs; and (5) implementing Supply Chain Transportation related concepts and processes around vehicle routing (VRP), carrier selection, tendering, shipment creation, and movement control.
