JOB POSITION: Senior Analyst BI&A
LOCATION: 33 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402
DUTIES: Gather and analyze data to solve complex problems and evaluate scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes and support data-driven decision-making; design, develop and deliver business intelligence solutions; interface with Target business representatives to validate business requirements and requests for analysis and present intermediate and final analytics results; follow Agile practices along with using JIRA technology; define statistical scope of project and verify it with leaders and peers; determine best method to gather, model, manipulate, and present data; gather business requirements and translate business questions into requirements; build visualization of results and report requests; work within Data Product and Technology Product teams' best methods, requiring end-to-end ownership of solutions with end users in mind; and document analytical methodologies used in the execution of analytical request projects. Skills and technologies used include: visualization, coding, business consulting, analytics, database architecture, data mining, collaboration, Python, Hadoop, GitHub, HipChat, DB2 Host, Micro Strategy, SCI, Cognos, Teradata Studio, R Studio, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Domo, Tableau, and internal tools (such as Greenfield, DataPortal, and Data Stream).
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in business intelligence solutions (any title) with visualization, database architecture, data mining, analytics, and using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, DB2 Host, Teradata Studio, and Micro Strategy.
