Atterro has an exciting opportunity for a Talent & Learning (HR) Specialist Role in Plano, TX!

The Talent & Learning Specialist
will be supporting the Talent Management Partners against core HR Programs & initiatives including Performance Management, Workforce Planning and Leadership Development & Succession.

 

In addition, each Talent & Learning Specialist will have an additional accountability to a distinct HR work stream.  In both work streams the accountability will include supporting the end to end strategy as well as participating on a team to fully execute against the initiatives set in alignment with business goals around talent development.

 

This comprehensive role will be done through external & internal research, reporting, application of Samsung policy, process management and the use of HR technology (WorkDay).

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new! Not only will this role be providing support in a variety of HR Programs and projects, but you will be part of a team implementing a strategy across the Talent Management and People Team organization with a strong HR leadership team.

 

The ideal candidate(s) will have a proven record in a support/coordination role related to HR, Talent Management, and Learning and Development.  A clear understanding of an organization’s current and future business strategies, solid business/functional acumen and the ability to report and analyze information that supports performance requirements, talent assessments and career development paths.

 

Other Key Responsibilities Include:

•       Supporting the Talent management Partners (TMP) related to roadmap and portfolio of work. (Performance Management, Succession, Coaching, Competency Models, Talent Selection Criteria)

•       Providing support to TMP in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent. (refresh profiles, updates with performance ratings)

•       Collecting, analyzing and maintaining data gathered to inform business leaders related to targeted leadership development, internal programs & KPIs.  (e.g., succession planning, SCI, goal setting, etc.)

•       Supporting Talent & Learning Operations related to Initiating and maintaining effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.

•       Supporting the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.

•       Working closely with the HRIS managers to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool.

•       Interacting with Talent Branding, Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition partners to understand their programs and identify interlocks and maintain alignment.

•       Partnering with the Sr. Manager, Talent & Learning community to understand the overall business, client groups and strategic business objectives, to ensure the work prioritized aligns with their business roadmap.

•       Providing operational consultation on process standardization and improvement opportunities to Employee Engagement & Culture strategic partners.

•       Successfully managing complex projects through the full project management lifecycle.

•       Identification of and escalation of risks as needed where solutions are proposed.

•       Supporting the broader Talent & Learning teams to identify other areas that can drive alignment to our key initiatives: providing an excellent employee experience, operational excellence and simplification.

Travel

•       Approximately 10-15% travel as required to support the implementation of HR Programs and business leadership initiatives.

Required Education and Experience

1.      2-5+ years of broad HR experience including talent management, program and performance management.

2.      Experience supporting and coordinating programs that impact organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management.

3.      Previous experience working in a highly matrixed environment.

4.      Ability to analyze and review data to summarize action plans.

5.      Previous experience in capturing metrics and producing various employment reports. Knowledge of Workday a plus.

6.      Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.
