As the Director Product Guest Identity & Choicedevelop atruly useful and actionable singleguest viewacross a dynamic consumer recognition continuum that ranges from anonymous to authenticated, honoringguestprivacy choicesevery step of the way. Your teams will be responsible for managing thecomplexity of linking and resolving identity information across allguesttouch-points coming in through different, unlinked technologies.Additionally, you will set the strategy and vision for guest data collection across1stand 3rdparty data, as well asidentifyopportunities to develop strategic data partnersthat allow Target to createa 360 degree view of our guestswhile respecting their right to privacy.

Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabledthrough technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highlyreliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and designwork.

As a Product Director, you will set the overall strategic vision for your product space and product team,are accountable for succeeding against identified business outcomes and metrics, will set and manage theproduct's budget and financials, set the short and long term product goals, and quarterly OKRs(Objectives and Key Results).

You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product owners whilealso building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product team(s). Youwill be responsible to elevate your collective team's performance by providing insightful, motivating, andconstructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers acrosspyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.

You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts withcustomers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiplepyramids, with interrelated specialties. You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitiveanalysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectivenessof your products and related P&Limpacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.

It will be critical that you possess an understanding of retail, relevant technologies and design principlesin order to drive innovative and scalable solutions across pyramids.

About you:

  • 4-year college degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of retail experience or equivalent domain experience
  • Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs, and driving business outcomes
  • Experienceworking in the product model with strong product thinking skills. Ability to facilitate communication between business andtechnology team
  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development,etc)
  • Expert inguest data management, data privacy, data governance, and product management
  • Strong communication skills, both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionally
  • Ability to lead and influence a team while fostering relationships across multiple teams
