Field Service Technician

Pro Staff is recruiting for a Field Service Technician for our client in Oshkosh. In this role, you will provide electronic, mechanical and electromechanical tests to ensure unit functions are up to standard.
Essential duties in this role include:
- Performing defined service tasks at various off-site locations
- Reading test schedules, work orders, manuals, specifications, wiring diagrams and schematics
- Preparing daily analysis and solution reports, travel/trip reports, and expense reports in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and utilize instrumentation and documentation to determine issues and how to fix them
- Calibrate and read test instruments, dials, and digital displays
- Replace defective wiring and components, and evaluate performance and operation of units
- Ability to lead projects, instruct, and direct workers
- Electromechanical associate’s degree or four years’ experience in the field
- PLC control experience
- Advanced trouble shooting skills using a laptop, multi-meter and handheld tools
- Knowledge of PT’s, CT’s, breakers, surge arrestor, relays and other devices used in low and medium voltage switchgear
- Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations
- Knowledge of manufacturing, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, PLC and Relay software
Pay for this position is $18-25/hr
