Working within Talent Management, you will help Target drive performance, strengthen our leadership pipeline, and foster a winning culture. Own practices that accelerate performance, development, and engagement of Target teams across the enterprise.

As a Lead Consultant, Talent Management, you will act as practice owner of current and future executive talent planning (e.g. potential, succession, LT talent planning) by continually evaluating Target's current talent planning approach, researching and making recommendations (including methodology, roles, expectations, routines, and tools), and ensuring alignment to and integration with broader Target strategies and deliverables. You will also act as a consultant to HRBP leadership and their teams, bringing enterprise and functional insights and best practices and helping HR teams drive talent outcomes within the businesses that they support. You will also regularly interface with key stakeholder teams (e.g. HRBP leaders, HR Technology and Product, Pay & Benefits) with regards to executive talent planning. We'll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Lead Consultant. The exciting part of retail? It's always changing! About You:
  • Four year degree required
  • Leader who has a track record of taking something from vision/strategy and operationalizing
  • Prior HR CoE and/or HR Business Partner experience, preferably in an organization with both corporate and field-based teams
  • Ability to build strong relationships and networks internally and externally
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing projects of varying size and scope, including cross functionally
  • Ability to provide strategic partnership and comfort communicating with Sr Leaders
  • Operates independently with little direction
