About us:

Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

We use good data, in-depth analysis and cross-functional insights to identify and communicate the best practices that elevate our sourcing and procurement work to its highest potential.

A role with the Indirect Sourcing & Procurement Center of Excellence (IS&P COE) is a chance to positively impact several key areas of Target's business. In addition, you will ensure suppliers are well positioned from a capacity standpoint, create financial awareness of forecasted spend associated with the indirect fixtures planned demand, and foster continual improvements in demand forecasting accuracy for assigned categories. Other aspects of this role include: supporting item set-up and governance, forecasting indirect item demand, and influencing cross-functional indirect category aspects or programs. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
  • Understand category unit forecasts and develop rolling item level demand plans for indirect fixtures
  • Review indirect fixture trends, usage, demand, and behaviors to drive continual refinements in forecast modeling
  • Participate in project-level cross-functional teams to ensure indirect fixture needs are identified, planned and executed in a timely, cost effective and high-quality manner
  • Partner with key internal partners to track performance trends, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and develop plans to improve systemic performance
  • Work closely with suppliers on sharing forecasted demand and capacity planning
  • Develop demand plans for categories through analysis and collaboration with partners teams
  • Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Proven success supporting process and/or tool improvements to achieve team objectives
  • Skilled communicator with global partners, cross-functional teams, suppliers, and leadership
