Job Description:

Areas of Responsibility:

Transportation Services, Valet, Shuttle Bus,


Job Summary:

Manages the valet operation, shuttle bus operations, and contracted team member transit bus operation to ensure the highest level of guest service, in accordance with company policies and procedures.


Budget/Asset Responsibilities:

Assists in preparing and maintains department budget. Responsible for controlling labor and other expenses and capital costs against approved budget. Orders supplies for maintenance work order materials.


Job Duties:

  1. Coordinates and manages the Mystic Lake valet operation and the guest and team member shuttle services between all company properties and off-site stops.
  2. Oversees and coordinates contracted team member shuttle service.
  3. Forecasts, develops and maintains the department budget and capital expenditures. Completes monthly and year-to-date (YTD) variance reports pertaining to the budget. Maintains and tracks supplies and completes purchase requisitions as needed.
  4. Assigns tasks and disseminates pertinent information to Transportation Services Assistant Managers and supervisors.
  5. Monitors and analyzes departmental operations. Develops and revises procedures as necessary. Directs and oversees the implementation of operational or department policy changes.
  6. Interviews, selects, hires, and promotes team members. This includes training, developing, performance management, and termination.
  7. Oversees all aspects of department team member driving and creates and directs all programs to reduce accidents. Works in conjunction with other departments in minimizing liability issues.
  8. Resolves guest and team member complaints and concerns.
  9. Analyzes monthly staffing levels for department and directs schedule changes. Ensures appropriate staffing levels.

Requirements:
  1. Combination of education and experience to equal six years in guest service operations and/or hospitality-related filed.
  2. Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations.
  3. Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record.
  4. Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  5. Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
  6. On feet or standing 15% of time.
  7. Outside work 20% of time.
