HR Operations Center (HROC) Manager

Working within the HR Operations Center, your mission will be to enhance the team member experience through a centralized HR support model. You will have direct line of sight of the front line of HR support throughout the enterprise and will be challenged with understanding the needs of Team Members and HR clients, identifying solutions, and enhancing HR service delivery.

As an HROC Manager, you will staff, train, and provide performance management and team direction. You will continually improve the client-focused execution of core business processes within the HR Operations Center. Thoroughly understand overall business strategy and daily operations within the HR Operations Center. Evaluate process to ensure best methods are used and continual improvement is realized. Understand, monitor and analyze the work environment to identify and then act on opportunities to improve operational performance, client experience, team and individual productivity, technology issues, team and individual training, and communication within the team and HR Operations Center. You will establish strong working relationships with all of the HROC; collaboratively work with internal and external partners to drive a cross-functional approach to operational performance. Proactively seek solutions to content and workflow issues and consider the HR Operations Center, in total, when evaluating placement of work and act as a key contact for HR Operations Center projects to test new strategies within the Direct Operations team. You may also perform project management duties as assigned and based on need and HR Operations Center capacity. The exciting part of retail? It's always changing! About you:
  • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous leadership experience; demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate others.
  • Commitment to guest service.
  • Ability to positively handle conflict.
  • Ability to work independently and in groups and maintain a high level of initiative.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in O365.
  • Target Stores, DC or HQ HR and/or Operational experience.
  • Workday Experience.
