SENIOR ENGINEER

Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for supporting software application development and engineering products. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) programmatically reading, parsing and processing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) documents including 204, 990, 214, and 210 for Supply Chain operations; (2) communicating with third party REST APIs using XML and JSON; (3) working with UI and APIs for JDA Transportation Manager package, including routing optimization; (4) diagnosing, reporting, debugging and resolving software and hardware problems to support and maintain Supply Chain Transportation related finance operations and processes including vouchering, freight bill matching, and automated controls for balancing and reconciliation; and (5) developing, enhancing, maintaining and testing software to implement Supply Chain Transportation concepts and processes around vehicle routing (including VRP), carrier selection, tendering, shipment creation, and movement control.
