Hunter Hamilton is looking for qualified candidates to join a small, yet fast-paced team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Located in the West Metro and within the construction industry, this position partners with other business and functional areas to ensure combined operating results are appropriately accounted for. Ideal candidates not only meet all the qualifications, but are self-motivated and have strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable processing
• Assist with month and year end processes as well as inventory costing
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
• Identify opportunities for improvements, internal controls, and automation in the month-end close process and successfully implement these improvements

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting preferred
• Over 2 years accounting and/or Accounts Payable experience
• Experience with Sage ERP preferred
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
• Critical thinker, problem solver, adaptable, ambitious, analytical.
