Senior Engineer

Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Sr. Engineer will be responsible for advancing Target's Digital Marketing strategy for Target. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) working on spark, spark streaming, spark data frames to optimize and fine tune the spark streaming application to obtain real-time access to data; (2) developing parsers using Scala API for parsing the data from different sources and data formats including LOG, JSON, and CSV; (3) developing automated scripts for provisioning of the Kafka, Zookeeper, and Elastic Search Clusters; and (4) installing Oozie workflow engine to run Map Reduce, Hive and Pig jobs.
