Our client a property management company with locations in several states has a career opportunity at their Fargo, ND location as a CFO. This position is a financial leader for the organization and is responsible for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations. The CFO will also manage investor relationships, partnership compliance along with private and institutional financing. This position will report directly to the President.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 7 plus years of experience in financial management and proven supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and can work at strategic and hands-on tactical levels while effectively planning, implementing, and executing tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with knowledge of the property management industry are essential to this position. CPA designation required. Experience and working knowledge of Yardi and ADP a plus.
