Business Process Analyst
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for creation and implementation of process plans in support of the professional services. This position works closely with internal and external partners and must be comfortable championing ideas and processes to a diverse audience. This role requires advanced analysis, planning, establishment of requirements, development of procedures, business case development and cost justification.
The individual must have a high level of communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to be versatile to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills. It is paramount that the individual is able to understand and document the complex flow of business systems and processes. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The individual will work daily, on-site at New Jersey location. Traveling and overtime work may be required based on projects and volume of work. Overtime work will need to be pre-approved.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Research, develop, document and implement sustainable and repeatable procedures
• Identify gaps and re-engineer process inefficiencies relative to current procedures
• Drive root cause analysis to solve complex business problems, develop and implement solutions in support of cross-functional partners and business stakeholders
• Develop subject matter expertise for multi-faceted problems and deliver simplified solutions, eliminate wasteful activities plus improve proficiencies
• Foster relationships with key cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders; establish strong partnerships to obtain desired results
• Aggregate and communicate information across various teams including Technology, Business, and Operations Management
• Document business flows and processes, including the proposal stages of a project up to end-user outcomes
• Provides team consulting support on complex tasks
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed
• Extract, analyze, and integrate data from various Samsung systems such as SAP, GSPN, GCIC
Education/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Service operations, Sales (Indirect, Corporate, Retail), or related field
• Experience in system analytics is essential
• Proficient in English; Good knowledge of additional languages will be a definite plus
• High level knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of performance evaluation procedures
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
• Process and results-oriented, with ability to flex from high-level strategy to fine attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to manage time and work under pressure
• Ability to foster teamwork and align objectives across diverse groups
Must haves:
• High level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and system analytics
• Ability to actively listen, think strategically and creatively to solve problems, gain action through influence and experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to be versatile to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task
