Senior Manager-Shared Services, Product Capability Manager

Best Buy Co., Inc. has an opening in Richfield, MN for the position of Senior Manager-Shared Services, Product Capability Manager to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.  Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. Provide users with technical support for computer problems. Stay abreast of advances in technology. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. Define and implement process and tools needed to build and manage a robust, scalable and secure deployment environment including application deployment management, automation tools, as well as drive continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD). Provide day-to-day strategic and tactical project direction and guidance to shared services team.  Define detailed release plans, resource plans, and ensure compliance with financials/budgets.  Manage stakeholder alignment and collaborate with cross-functional partners throughout the project to ensure alignment and resolve dependencies. There are multiple openings for this role. Requires: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science, plus at least two (2) years of IT application development leadership experience performing IT project management and application delivery of large scale, highly scalable platform implementation in the retail or eCommerce industries.  Experience must have also involved (1) management or technical leadership in engineering operations, DevOps, and Software Engineering; (2) continuous integration and/or continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience; (3) Agile development methods such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean or XP; (4) using Agile tools, such as Atlassian, Jira, and Confluence; (5) Agile Scaling Frameworks (such as scrum@scale, SAFe and/or LeSS); and (6) Agile coaching experience.
