Assistant Professor of Computer Science
Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. This position is a probationary/tenure-track appointment with an expected start date of August 17, 2020. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching both lower-level and upper-level undergraduate/graduate computer science courses. Additional duties include (1) engaging in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance your knowledge of the field; (2) providing evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities; (3) contributing to student growth and development including student advising; and (4) supporting WSU’s mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve by providing assistance and service to the program, department, college, university and greater community. Minimum qualifications for this position are Ph.D. or ABD in Computer Science or related field and a demonstrated commitment to quality teaching.
