A role in Construction means leading the execution of the new store, remodel and innovation plans and projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, new small-format stores and large-format ground-up construction, you'll help manage the scope, schedule and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timeline, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process and turnover. You'll keep all of the players and partners aligned with effective communication between vendors, general contractors, field leadership and project teams.

As a Senior Construction Analyst you will develop capital budgets for assigned construction projects. Encompasses compiling cost data, verifying costs allocation, creating reports, and reviewing budgets with internal teams and leadership. Requires high level of accuracy, ability to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to understand and clearly communicate various aspects of project costs. You will be responsible for analyzeing cost data to provide routine and ad hoc reporting and metrics to assist senior leaders in making informed financial decisions. Additionally you will perform other tasks as needed such as preparing budget data for upload to multiple systems, tracking approved prototype cost changes, and updating model budgets. About you:
  • Degree in data science, statistics, finance, engineering or other technical field.
  • 2 years budgeting or data analysis experience.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel/suite including pivot tables and macros, data analysis software, and ability to code.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, project management, and service orientation skills.
  • Self-directed with abilities in relationship management, accuracy acumen, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Aptitude to understand and communicate complex cost information to multiple levels of an organization.
