Director - Digital Media Channels

A role with Target Digital Media & Search means being close to the action of delivering profitable sales to and bringing the business's multichannel vision to life. You'll create and implement industry-leading digital media plans for Brand & Category Marketing while staying on the cutting edge of emerging digital media innovations. Cultivating an environment of full-team engagement, leadership and personal development, you'll be a champion for open communication and program transparency.

As a Director - Digital Media Channels, you will lead a team and work across various internal and external partners to master the distribution of relevant content to our guests through Digital Media communication channels and improve channel yield. You will be responsible for developing the vision and setting the go-to-market strategy for your channels. Inclusive of the following elements: SMART Goals, Investment Plan, Partner Ecosystem, Inventory Development Plan, Tool and Capability enhancements, and Team and Process Improvement Plan. Within your day-to-day, your team will be accountable for Channel Budget Management, Tactical Media Planning and Activation, Performance Reporting and Insights, Competitive and Industry benchmarking, and internal/external partner communication of said. You will personally be a leader who models Target's behaviors, develops a high performing team, builds strong relationships through trust and accountability, acts as a brand steward for your channels, and serves as a direct representation of Target's Media team with various external media, creative and technology partners.

About you:
  • 4 year college degree in Business/Marketing or related
  • 10+ years' of direct experience in Media or Marketing
  • 5+ years' of direct experience with Digital Channels or eCommerce
  • Experience managing and leading teams
  • Experience with Web and CRM Analytics
  • Experience with Budget and P&L management
  • Excellent negotiations and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with people at all levels and diverse experiences
  • Results oriented
  • Curious and enjoys the process of learning
