ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ASSOCIATED TASKS
CommonBond is excited to announce an opening for a part-time HR Intern in our Human Resources department located at our headquarters in St. Paul, MN during the Fall 2019 Semester. The HR Intern will provide administrative and clerical support, including data entry, correspondence, filing, and other tasks in support of the HR team. They will assist the HR team with recruitment, training, onboarding, benefits, and other projects.
The HR Intern will earn valuable on-the-job training with experienced HR professionals, learning HRIS, employment law, and many other areas of HR service delivery. Additionally, we offer a challenging, fun, growth-oriented work environment and the chance to make a difference in lives of our residents.
SCHEDULE
Flexible schedule- 16 hours/week
QUALIFICATIONS
• Seeking a college student seeking majoring in HR or related field with an interest in pursuing a career in HR
• Proficiency with Microsoft software – Word and Excel
• Willingness to learn and use HRIS program
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere
• Ability to self-direct
• Ability to produce neat and accurate work
• Solid work ethic
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Ability to sit for up to 4 hours at a time.
