Job Details

Our client located downtown Chicago is looking for a Mid-Level Front End Developer, who is comfortable jumping in and getting their hands dirty creating website, microsite, landing pages, apps, email, digital ads, social campaigns and more.  If you are looking to join a positive and supportive team, where you are encouraged to learn, develop, and grow then this might be the perfect position for you. 

If you have experience with:

  • WordPress experience- 3-5 years
  • Ability to hand code: CSS, HTML/ HTML5, Javascript, and some PHP
  • Comfortable with Email tools for testing and execution- using mostly SharpSpring and some Hubspot for CRM- for testing- Litmus and Email on Acid
  • Expert knowledge of digital best practices (including SEO), digital development and user experience
  • HTML email and template development, including coding, testing and deployment
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Experience designing and developing responsive websites, user interfaces for and/or web applications
  • Comfortable in an Agile work environment
  • Website architecture and aiding in production on various levels: site mapping, wireframe building
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality while ensuring high-performance
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
