Description:
About us:
Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

Target's distinctive brand love is infused throughout its many physical locations by the Properties teams. We have a direct and positive impact on the real estate, design, construction and maintenance of our stores, distribution centers and headquarters. Are you ready to help strategically grow Target's brand through leading-edge design, development, construction and preservation? Can you effectively balance the efficiencies of a large-design build company with the unique challenges and innovative solutions required by individual sites? Then take your place on one of our Properties teams, and help us make the most of Target's physical footprint both in the U.S. and overseas.

A role in Property Management means the opportunity to maximize the performance and longevity of Target's assets while delivering value, reliability and brand integrity. Leverage and stretch your skills, whether your focus is electrical and plumbing, fire and security, smart buildings, HVAC and refrigeration, waste management and recycling, donations programs, or energy utility expense management. Here, your work will exceed the needs of both Target guests and team members, delivering a holistically positive and pleasing experience, every time they walk through our doors.

As a Senior Program Owner Property Management, you will be responsible for managing the Fire & Security capital replacement program. This includes planning, sourcing and managing 200+ projects for the team per year. You must be comfortable partnering and communicating with Lead Program Managers, the Stores organization, Property Management Field Teams, Construction, Assets Protection and Vendor partners relative to your project's goals and program/project initiatives. You'll build cross functional relationships with internal and external partners that will be critical to achieving the goals, processes and outcomes set as well as deliver the capital projects on time and on budget. You will play a critical role in support, testing, evaluation, and providing feedback on your projects to ensure system longevity. Awareness of industry and competitor activities as it relates to fire and intrusion alarms and electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems is essential to ensure that we remain strategic and effective in our buildings. Using your skills and experiences, you will develop criteria and scope of work for vendors and source those vendors to complete the projects being executed. Cultivate and implement tools and reporting to effectively monitor and measure vendor performance and level of service and manage project details in Target's Capital Project Management software. In this role, you will continuously evaluate vendors' performance and cost and develop processes to address corrective actions as necessary. In using data and your experience, you'll uncover issues, complete root cause analysis, and resolve issues. You will have financial accountability for expenses associated with your projects and perform budget development, expense tracking, analysis and forecasting. As you monitor and manage budgets within financial guidelines, you will proactively communicate financial trends and risks associated with budgets to the finance team and appropriate Target Properties leadership. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
