Job Description:
Job Summary:
Assist the Marketing department with creating, organizing, distributing, proofing and tracking marketing materials
Job Duties:
- Design marketing materials for Community departments and businesses.
- Assist with distribution of marketing materials for all Community enterprises.
- Promote the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community and Community enterprises at industry events and trade shows.
- Assist with printing and production of all marketing materials.
- Assist with proofing all marketing materials.
- Archive printed materials including brochures, flyers, DVD's, etc. for all enterprises.
- Uses a personal computer, printer, copier, fax machine and/or laminator to compose and distribute materials, correspondence, and/or reports.
Requirements:
- Combination of post-secondary education in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or related field and related experience to equal 4 years.
- Beginning experience with word-processing, speadsheets, database, presentations, and electronic mail software.
- Multi-tasker with ability to follow instructions, work independently and interact positively with employees throughout organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License may be required with good driving record.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
