A role with Roundel, is an opportunity to represent the company in the sales of digital media, advertising and custom marketing campaign solutions to the national media and advertising agency market. You'll develop and present market-leading media strategies and smart solutions that exceed our clients' needs-all with a focus on delivering on Target's unmatched brand promise. Your challenge will be to lead the RFP process including reviewing responses, writing proposals, coordinating insertion orders and managing client contact reports. Use your strong communication skills and digital media experience to tell the story of Target's key differentiators in the media and ad markets. Apply your proven success in leveraging data to distill the relevant insights that influence clients. Bring your passion for this rapidly evolving environment and have a hand in delivering the profitable financial results that benefit the entire business.

As a Senior Account Executive, you'll develop and execute marketing strategies in partnership with some of the world's most recognized brands. Working holistically at both the account and brand level, you'll create sales opportunities that drive shopper marketing and national brand advertising revenue for Target. As these opportunities are identified, you will manage the end-to-end sales process including KPI alignment, pitch/proposal presentation, negotiation, closing and post-campaign reporting. A critical thought partner internally, you will be relied upon to be a client-facing Target representative supporting merchandising and marketing priorities for your assigned category/vertical. Your status as a trusted internal liaison coupled with the acute knowledge of digital media industry challenges will help establish key relationships with decision-makers and navigate complex organization hierarchies to unlock incremental funding. This position reports to the Director, Roundel Sales & Strategy. About you:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and accountability for sales revenue of $5M+
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital media environment, trends/technologies and agency landscape
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience including at least 5+ years of digital media sales, analytics and/or marketing experience
  • This position will be located in Los Angeles, CA
  • Must be willing to travel
