Atterro has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Manager to handle Corporate Facilities for a leading manufacturing company in Northwest Houston.  If you meet the Manager requirements Atterro wants to hear from you today! 

Duties to include but not limited to: 
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate supportive services of the organization.
  • Develops short and long-range facility utilization plans
  • Set goals and deadlines for the department.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develops and implements policies and building standards for external resources assisting with projects.
  • Manage leasing of facility space.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Participate in architectural and engineering planning and design, including space and installation management.
  • Manages and oversees design development for remodeling or build out space with consultants and internal resources to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
  • Reviews and recommends space standards.
  • Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies.
  • Acts as liaison between end-users and Facility Operation process including managing costs associated with maintaining buildings, furnishings and grounds.
  • Plans and oversees moves and maximizes use of the organization`s furniture systems standard and ensures correct code compliance.
  • Ensures that new or remodeled office space is complete with appropriate phone service and furniture, also ensures that janitorial services are adequate.
  • Maintains space and furniture/equipment inventories. Acquire, distribute and store supplies. Dispose of, or oversee the disposal of, surplus or unclaimed property.

Travel: 10% to 15%

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in technical area such as architecture, engineering or related field.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 8 - 15 years experience in building management and construction. 
  • Project management 
  • Financial / budgets 
  • Professional bidding 
  • Manufacturing background required 
  • Ability to manage 1 million sq ft facility 
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong mathematical skills / financial background
