Looking for a new manufacturing opportunity? Pro Staff has a Fabrication opening at our client company in Glenwood that offers a 4-day work week and a complete benefits package at hire on! Main areas of responsibility include:

• Determine specs based on blueprints and machine drawings
• Operate equipment such as shears, saws, drills and presses to cut and shape parts
• Grind welds, seams and other irregular areas to smooth surfaces
• Select torch, torch tip, filler rod and flux according to specs and type/thickness of metal
• Bend and straighten metal
• Light maintenance on equipment
• Move material into and out of fabrication area

Qualifications:

• AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 6+ months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings to determine spec requirements
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong shop math skills
• Ability to interpret tolerances and identify material

Hours are 5:30am-4pm, Mon-Thurs., with overtime on Fridays as needed. Pay is $14-17/hr., depending on experience.
