Our client in the Northern Suburbs is growing and is looking to hire a Sr. Email Strategist with a deep background in email marketing, to join their team. Our client is a multi-brand technology solutions provider to business, government, education and healthcare customers. Using cutting edge data capturing platforms and programs, they strive to deliver an unrivaled experience to the end user. As the Sr. Email Manager Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, administrating, and managing the entire life-cycle current and future programs including planning, organizing, leading and controlling program activities.
This role breaks downing into 2 main categories:
Planning and Development:
Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in alignment with the organization’s strategy and priorities
Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
Develop an annual budget and operating plan to support the program
Develop a program evaluation framework by tracking program success and/or suggesting corrective action based on data- identify and respond to areas of improvement
Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support
Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization and comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards.
Develop documentation of program activities
Oversee the collection and maintenance of data on the clients for statistical purposes in accordance of the organizations privacy policy.
Write reports for management and key stakeholders
Execution and Reporting:
Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure that all activities operates within the approved budget
Monitor and approve all budgeted expenditures
Identify and evaluate the risks associated with marketing activities and take appropriate action
Monitor all activities on a regular basis and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate
Analyze email and digital metrics to generate insights to improve future performance
Work cross functionally to execute email marketing activities aligned
Improve activity performance by applying the test/learn/apply approach through defining hypothesis, test design setup & execution, reviewing metrics and communicating learnings.
Review and recommend targeting criteria
Review and develop future opportunities to grow and increase business objectives
In order to join our clients outstanding team, here are the must haves:
MBA or graduate degree, will consider those with a bachelor degree
5 years of marketing experience in proven email marketing and management experience with a focus on driving initiatives from conception through completion.
2 years of experience in eCommerce environments and digital marketing tools
7 years Sales or Marketing experience or Project Management experience in Technology industry
Strong track record of successfully influencing stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of technology product offerings and solutions
Proficient with reporting and analytics applications such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Excel, Google Analytics, Cognos, ProClarity
Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
