 A premier organization in the Brainerd Lakes area is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This position requires proven experience with low and high voltage troubleshooting. Works with hydraulic, pneumatics, vacuum and chilled water systems. PC skills, good communication, and planning skills are needed. Familiar with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Summary:

Responsible for the efficient and cost-effective maintenance and repair of equipment, building and grounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of types of preventative and routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, welding, plumbing, or carpentry work for all facilities.
  • Coordinates and performs the maintenance and repair of the building and grounds as needed.
  • Ensure all mechanical equipment is functioning satisfactorily.
  • Makes recommendations for equipment re-builds and equipment upgrades.
  • Communicates with external vendors to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair.
  • Schedules necessary warranty work with vendors.
  • Repairs thermoform tooling when needed.
  • Preforms tooling set-ups on all thermoforming equipment.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Utilize preventative maintenance and work order software
  • Log parts to be ordered.
  • Communicates status of repairs.
  • All other duties as assigned.

    • Various positions available. Rate of pay for this position is $18-$22/hr. DOE
