Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Provide sales and technical support in an efficient and accurate manner, to customers who contact Intercomp by phone and website . Assist customers’ with questions on products, prices, lead times, and basic service issues. Issue quotations, enter orders and promptly respond to all inquiries to improve overall customer experience.
Major Areas of Responsibility/Accountability:
Manage 20-30 sales and service inquiries per day.
Provide accurate answers to sales inquiries relating to price structures, item availability and basic product line related questions.
Handle and process customer support inquires for parts, first level technical support, issue quotations, invoices, and authorization for return of merchandise for repair.
Utilize CRM database and ERP system to look up customer information, record interactions with customers, find parts and pricing, enter orders, and generate invoices.
Provide accurate, timely and thorough information to customers by using the proper company processes and tools.
Partner with in house sales and technical support staff to relay accurate information, transfer calls/inquiries when more advanced support is required.
Provide follow up communication with customers to ensure requests for support have been satisfactorily resolved.
Minimum 2-3 years in a customer support role
Excellent communication listening, written and oral communication skills
Past experience with CRM systems and entering orders
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality and customer types
