Director, Channel Development - Roundel

As a leader with Roundel, you will be an integral part of defining the future while leading the present by identifying, developing and managing critical channels for ad inventory growth - to be incorporated in Roundel's media ecosystem.

As the Director, Roundel Channel Development, you will be responsible for building and evolving media channels including Owned & Operated, Search, Social, Programmatic, Video and in Store/out of home. You will establish and deliver a strategy and roadmap that propels Roundel as a differentiated leader in the advertising industry. As a business leader you will partner with technology & audience teams to maximize the effective ad offering to differentiate the Roundel ad portfolio. This includes actively managing, coaching and developing team members through clear expectations, goal setting as well as performance management. This role will act as both a thought leader and active manager for Roundel ad supply - ensuring strong strategic and practical deployment to meaningful ad supply. About you:

  • 4-year college degree as well as post graduate degree (MBA preferred) with minimum 5 years of experience creating and driving strategic business decisions after graduate school;
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated growth and success with technology and business roles within the advertising industry (publisher or agency), with a top management consulting firm, or across retail or CPG industry.
  • 5+ years of proven track record working with large scale data and/or technology, conceptual problem-solving including delivery of packaged solutions to senior level leaders.
  • 5+ years of people management experience required, including leading leaders of people.
  • 3+ years of building relationships with senior executive leaders, including influencing without authority.
  • Proven ability to stand-up, transform and lead teams specifically in the media space.
  • Expertise and proven track record with managing multiple media channels - including on site publishing, search, social, programmatic, video or out of home.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to tell compelling business and result stories.
  • Regular domestic travel required.
