A role with Target In-Store Marketing (ISM) means an opportunity to help shape our guests' holistic experiences by connecting our guests to our brand and influence the way they engage, shop and buy. In this role, you'll drive development of in store marketing strategies and concepts that consistently deliver inspirational, easy and undeniably Target shopping experiences for our guests.

As a Marketing Manager, ISM, you'll address guest and business challenges by developing clear and measurable in store marketing strategies, guided by Target's overall strategies plus specific merchant and/or vendor strategies while always prioritizing. To do so, you'll put the guest first by knowing the guest, how they shop and what they need in store. You'll regularly competitive shop to understand how other businesses organize and market their products as well as use your analytical skills to draw conclusions from relevant data sources to make appropriate reommendations. You'll build and maintain strong working relationships with key partners both inside and outside the company as well as drive collaboration across the company. This role provides expertise and guidance on cross divisional projects w/in pyramid and/or across store. You'll evaluate creative against your brief ensuring it meets project goals and objectives. This role is accountable to annual & monthly planning and forecast and ensuring department is maintaining safety, legal & patent guidelines and Target brand standard.

  • College graduate or related experience
  • 4-6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to lead and direct cross-functional teams and advocate for Guest-focused solutions
  • Ability to manage ambiguity
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with partners
  • Strong sense of composition and design detail
  • Proven experience developing successful creative briefs
