Account Representative
Job Details
We are looking to add an Account Representative to our team in Faribault! We are looking for a candidate with strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs. Must be able to provide a high level of customer service, excellent communication skills and strong data entry skills. Sales or call center experience is helpful.
Job Duties Include-
• Perform order management functions such as order entry, expediting orders, holds maintenance, etc.
• Develop product knowledge by attending required sales, service, product training, negotiation classes and utilizing web based training where applicable to develop strong sales skills to assist customers.
• Responsible for assigned territory administration involving quote follow up, call cycle development, and resolution or referral of customer complaints.
• Oversee new customer set up and approval.
• Team with Field Sales and other company resources to drive additional revenues, margin, and Premier sales to maximize sales efficiencies to assigned territory through phone prospecting, selling to new accounts and assigned territory.
• Provide pricing and availability quotes to customer and recommend alternate products when appropriate. Manage Quotation process, providing direction on pricing when needed.
• Make freight and order decisions, and assist in vendor negotiations.
• Prepare/submit reports to management and customers as required.
• Manage departmental TL9000 and ISO responsibilities, ensuring all customer documentation is complete and accurate.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED, Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-3 years of customer service experience
- Strong computer skills, preferably ISO and Excel experience
- Strong communication skills, ability to provide timely responses via inbound and outbound call as well as via email.
