20 hours a week.

CommonBond Communities is seeking a highly qualified college intern to work with the Wisconsin Market Leader and other leadership staff at CommonBond Communities Wisconsin to support the mission of the organization by assisting with the administration of our board of managers, marketing & fundraising activities, and various administrative tasks. The position will also assist with real estate, service partnership, and volunteer development as well as assisting with various property management activities.

Schedule: 20 hours/ week flexible schedule

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ASSOCIATED TASKS
• Under the general supervision of the Wisconsin Market Leader, the intern will assist with general fundraising, outreach projects, and administrative activities in Wisconsin.
• Assist with the implementation of the funding outreach strategy
• Help in the coordination of all aspects of planning and implementation of CommonBond’s Affordable Housing Forum and other events in held by CommonBond Wisconsin staff.
• Assisting with social media postings across all platforms and other marketing activities as needed.
• Conducting volunteer recruitment for the organization by identifying new platforms for advertising and conducting outreach to schools and corporations near our volunteer opportunities.
• Work with Property Management in the administration of duties to complete specifically identified tasks and projects as needed.
• Create and manage the list of events Wisconsin staff participate in annually.
• Assist with the preparation of bi-monthly board materials, take minutes and serve as administration during the meetings, and assist with board engagement emails and activities in between meetings.
• Conduct general research on special projects and initiatives.
• Assisting with general administrative duties as assigned including managing receipts, scheduling meetings, processing invoices, ordering food and supplies, assisting with general office duties.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• The successful candidate will be enrolled in a college or university majoring in business, communications, public administration, non-profit management, political science, or a related field. Strong writing, research, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
