Minnkota Power is seeking qualified applicants for Vice President & Chief Financial Officer to join a vibrant growing team of professionals to be located at the corporate offices in Grand Forks, ND.

The Vice President assists the President & CEO by providing strategic leadership for the cooperative. Responsibilities include establishing goals and objectives, strategies, plans and policies to support the short-term/long-term activities of the cooperative.  The Vice Presidents work together as an executive team to support the Board of Directors and oversee operations of the cooperative to ensure financial stewardship, communicate and implement global vision, and employee development.

Specific areas of focus include finance, accounting, payroll and benefits. Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience working in the areas of focus, with increased levels of responsibility and authority.  Extensive experience with all areas of management, leadership, ability to motivate, decision making, problem solving, analytical thinking, time management, interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication.
