A role with Target In-Store Marketing means an opportunity to shape our guests' holistic experience of our marketing content inside our stores. You'll drive the success of both forward-thinking projects and best practices that have a global impact on In-Store Marketing's activities. Bring your exceptional skills for prioritization to allocate and manage projects to meet budget and timing parameters. Here, you'll balance efficiency with effectiveness as you oversee the production and logistics for all In-Store Marketing deliverables.

As a Print Production Manager - ISM, you'll be responsible for the production of In-Store Marketing elements for multiple categories and businesses while identifying and implementing improvements to both processes and outputs. Through cross-functional relationships with planners, project managers, design, logistics and print vendors, you'll lead the charge to ensure that ISM is produced correctly, on time and on budget. You will also seek creative solutions to overcome obstacles and/or problem solve with team as needed. Your attention to detail must be on point as you will not only direct all of the specifications to the vendors, but also proof their work through both mechanical and on-site visits. Bring on those math skills too, as you will be responsible for owning each of the category budgets and keeping the team informed of its health along the way. Speaking of, communication is key. In this role, you will need to be able to effectively communicate with all of your partners, internally and externally. On a daily basis, this could consist of understanding a creative concept from design, to communicating color direction to an agency, to requesting quotes from a vendor, to simply emailing a fellow team member. Additional areas of responsibility focus on understanding the various store designs and hardware used within them as well as assisting with onboarding of new vendor partnerships.

About you:
  • College degree or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in buying or producing print or manufacturing products
  • Understands print and manufacturing of 2 and 3D elements
  • Ability to critically view color
  • Understands global industry, emerging materials and printing techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Problem solving skills
