Atterro is now hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager  for a 1 million square footage Manufacturing Company in NW Houston. This position supports all factory production operations to include maintaining new equipment and upgrading existing equipment and facilities in accordance to OSHA Safety and local, State, and Federal environmental regulations. Also, responsible for emergency response team, chemical waste stream management, and use and disposal of materials coming in to and leaving the Plant. 

Job Responsibilities to include but not limited to: 

• Oversee directly or through subordinates the maintenance of plant facilities.
• Coordinate maintenance and production requirements.
• Negotiate with contractors for facilities and facility modifications.
• Audit maintenance personnel for adherence to safety, productivity and quality of performance expectations.
• Maintain Air Quality/Emission Equipment to insure compliance.
• Participate Storm Water Run off compliance.
• Participate in an Emergency Response Team.
• Participate in Waste Stream Management.
• Facilitate and maintain OSHA compliancy.
• Establish and maintain standards and policies for pollution control, inspection, and maintenance of equipment in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree 
• 10+ yrs. experience in a maintenance capacity with strong supervisory skills (specifically plant maintenance experience) 
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance practices
• Strong Safety knowledge and awareness
