Finance Accounting Manager
This position will be responsible for supporting the overall Company finance and accounting policies by managing commercial obligations entered into the customers. This position requires day-to-day management of marketing and sales expenditures for the Company, supporting policy guidelines and Company strategies, reviewing sales and marketing programs, performing contract content review, and resolving complex financial and accounting issues across several departments and with department leaders. The incumbent will also responsible for detailed expenditure tracking, payment processing, budget/actual analysis, and other various in-depth analyses reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
Supporting customer contracts review and detailed commercial terms negotiations; identify and drive resolutions to potential financial issues and risk; and provide summary to management
Review marketing and sales deduction investment activities
Responsible for managerial and internal use reporting on marketing and sales deduction transactions
Review reasonableness of marketing and sales deduction expense forecast and assist forecast process
Lead business units and work closely with sales account and marketing teams, and other Company departments as needed, to collect requirements, analyze information, and develop solutions consistent with business strategies
Timely support on quarterly and yearly internal/external audits
Provide process and policy overviews to departments including Marketing and Sales groups
Manage marketing and sales deduction expense process improvement projects and initiatives through evaluation of current business processes and identification of improvement plan
Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field and 5 – 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered.
Experience in contract review and management
Strong business acumen; understanding commercial terms and potential impact and risk across business units
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work across departments to resolve urgent issues
Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits
Proficient with Excel. SAP or other ERP system experience is plus.
