Payroll Manager

Required
Minimum 1-2 years management experience In house payroll for 500+ employees, union/ non union   System - Workday or Similar Payroll system   3+ years payroll experience
Responsibilities:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of in-house payroll processing experience for at least 500 hourly employees.
  • At least one year in an accounting supervisor/manager role is required.  This includes direct responsibility for all staff employment decisions, performance evaluations and performance improvement meetings.
  • Experience with union payrolls is preferred.  .
  • Preferred but not required: Accounting related degree or related certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be proficient in using email, database, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications: specifically Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be willing to learn new software applications.
  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Strong analytical and trouble solving skills.
  • Time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Good organizing and planning skills.
  • Works without direct supervision with different personalities and under pressure.
  • Be creative, flexible, adaptable, and possess excellent teamwork skills.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
