Pro Staff has partnered with an electronics manufacturer in Shakopee, Minnesota, and is seeking an experienced Friction Line Operator. Some job duties for this position include machining friction surfaces for clutches, rotors, and brake magnets. This temp to hire position pays $14-$17 per hour, depending on experience. Qualified candidates will have previous machine operating experience and the ability to read blueprints. 

 

Shifts Available:

1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

2nd shift: 2:30 pm - 1:00 am, Monday through Thursday

Job Duties:

Operating a Friction Line Machine Inspecting parts Form sub-assemblies and final assemblies by installing prefabricated components Read blueprints and production orders Cutting semi-finished parts Measuring parts for accuracy using tools Maintain a clean, organized work environment Other job duties as assigned   

Requirements:

Previous experience with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, test indicators, etc Previous machine operating experience is required Previous experience with hand and power tools Ability to read blueprints Ability to solder Must have attention to detail Ability to work independently without guidance Ability to meet physical requirements of standing and lifting Must have reliable transportation Ability to meet client requirements
