Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as the Director of the Healthcare Education-Industry Partnership Initiatives (HEIP). The HEIP Director manages statewide partnerships and initiatives for the purpose of conducting joint strategic planning and project development between the healthcare industry and higher education.  The Director creates, manages and develops funding for new initiatives, develops policy recommendations, and is a liaison to the healthcare industry, other Minnesota State colleges and universities, the University of Minnesota, private colleges and state agencies on healthcare issues.  The Director also manages externally funded grant projects for the Center of Excellence and provides timely information to the Executive Director and the system office on healthcare issues in the state.

Minimum qualifications for this position include possessing a master’s degree in a Healthcare-related field, Education or Public Administration and at least five (5) years of experience in leadership and management of organizations and projects related to healthcare and/or higher education, including research, policy analysis, project management and working with elected officials. Note:  The HealthForce Minnesota office is located on the WSU-Rochester Broadway site. Telework from a home office located in Minnesota would be considered. Travel is required, including overnights and weekends to meet HealthForce Minnesota goals and objectives.
