In this role you will clean and insert ophthalmic lenses into ophthalmic frame (In metal, plastic or rimless), examine prescription, assembles eyeglass frame and attaches ornaments, shields, nose pads, and temple pieces, using different techniques.

Ideal candidates for the Optical Associate Technician role position MUST have optical manufacturing experience, be team player, problem solving skills, able to work with automated equipment, good hand-eye coordination and able to read prescriptions.

  

Requirements:

Selected candidates will be required to submit to drug test, able to work overtime and weekends.

High School Diploma

Minimum of 6 months of Optical or similar small piece Assembly experience.

Understanding of basic jobs work tickets.

Ability to work in a fast paced and loud environment, minimum supervision.
