About Us:

Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

Right on pace with Target's distinctive retail brand, Target Store Operations is continuing to transform the way it operates. Here, your work directly supports the store mission to be the guest favorite through successfully developing and communicating the processes for operations, style and experience, new structures, new operating models and new technology, and utilizing workforce management activities for our 1,800 locations nationwide. Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. Are you a customer service enthusiast who can actively listen to many points of view and then visualize how they'll perform when operationalized in a store? Are you happy to partner with leaders as well as field team members who are often the experts on how well a process is working? Can you creatively envision more efficient processes and how they'll deliver a better experience for guests and team members? Do you possess the innovative mindset to question the status quo, and the confidence to work under varying degrees of ambiguity and well-informed experimentation? Then you'll have success on one of our dynamic teams.

A role with Fulfillment Operations - Order Pickup and Drive Up means a big opportunity to apply your stores, logistics and fulfillment experience to improve the strategies that fuel behind-the-scenes processes like fulfillment, replenishment and inventory accuracy.

As a Sr. Business Partner supporting Store Fulfillment - Order Pickup and Drive Up, you will support the project deployment of physical changes to space, supplies and hardware used in Target's Pickup business. You will serve as the first line of contact for Store issue escalations, operational execution, and general field support - working closely with team members, store leaders, and HQ partners. You will capture Store feedback, data, and themes to support special project execution and space measurement. This includes creating communication for special projects in specific stores, tracking execution and troubleshooting store issues with HQ project partners. You will support and execute cross-functional initiatives by being the voice of our field teams. You'll build relationships across the organization to understand guest needs, identify operational opportunities, solicit feedback, define root cause, and recommend solutions. You will develop and maintain partnerships with both headquarters and field teams. You will be responsible for strategically influencing peers and business partners by analyzing and synthesizing data to provide meaningful insights and gaining alignment across multiple stakeholders. You will leverage critical thinking and communication skills to work in ambiguity, adapt to a rapidly changing work environment, navigate competing priorities across multiple business leaders, and challenging the status quo. Job duties may change at any time due to business need.

About you:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in relevant omni-channel, supply chain or stores
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence others
  • Ability to manage and adjust multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously when appropriate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Desired order pickup experience
  • Desired project management experience
  • Desired 6Sigma/LEAN certification
