Job Summary:

Provides support to the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) Gaming Enterprise (GE) Human Resources Training & Development & Divisional Human Resources team members leading the Culture Change Initiative with the Table Games department. The Intern will work closely with the Training & Development Specialist & Divisional Human Resources Representative to research, enhance and develop resources, programs and interventions in support of the strategies & objectives outlined in the Culture Change Initiative Work Plan.

Intern (non-paid, part-time position)

Primary Duties and Tasks

Develop communication templates for use within the Table Games department Create a weekly content calendar for both social media and print Assist with the development of new dealer on-boarding materials/communication Actively participate in functional area (Training & Development), department (Human Resources Development) and division (Human Resources) meetings Other duties as assigned and agreed upon

1. Familiar with Microsoft Office products
2. Able to work independently and with initiative
3. Demonstrates critical thinking and sound decision making
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Comfortable speaking in front of small groups (3-4 people) and large groups (15-20 people)
