Senior Engineer

Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Sr. Engineer will be responsible for developing and launching new services that power all the channels where Target does and will do business, in-store, web, tablet, mobile, and future channels. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) developing JEE application using open source frameworks including Spring Boot and Spring Batch; (2) working on CICD Pipeline for new modules with drone automation and deploy using mesos and marathon platform; (3) working on NoSQL databases including Cassandra and designing data models; (4) developing and performance testing and tuning of the API's using tools including JMeter; (5) utilizing programming languages and web technologies including: Java, Splunk, Gradle, Git, Intellij, Grafana, Drone, Kibana, Apache Tomcat and Jenkins as well as working with frameworks including SpringBoot and Databases and query languages, including Oracle and Postgres; and (6) utilizing pair and mob programming approach to ensure high quality code.
