MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR

Minnesota Mental Health Clinics is seeking a full-time mental health counselor for the Horizons Community Support Program. The individual for this position will be providing a range of services to seriously and persistently mentally ill adults 18 and older in Dakota County and will be available to work weekdays; and one Saturday a month along with one weekday evening (Wednesday) a month.

This position provides services in the community support program such as accessing needed mental health, medical, social, educational and vocational services to meet individual mental health recovery needs. This position also requires coaching and redirecting clients in a social setting, running support groups, providing outreach to clients in the community along with effective engagement skills, strong accountability and teamwork. Qualified candidates will possess a BA/BS. Must have a valid Minnesota drivers' license and good driving history.
