The Henrietta Schmoll School of Health at St. Catherine University invites applications for a Director of Simulation. This is a full time position. Salary is commensurate with experience. The Henrietta Schmoll School of Health has a long history of excellence in health profession education and a wide breadth of degree offerings. We operate a number of simulation labs in our effort to ensure that we offer our students technology-relevant educational experiences. Join us to create a shared vision for simulation-based learning and manage our center. This role will plan, design, implement and evaluate our simulation-based learning across the continuum from standardized patients through low, mid, and high-fidelity simulations. Responsibilities include:

Managing simulation resources
• Raising awareness of simulation resources internally and externally through grant funded opportunities
• Developing lab safety policies and procedures
• Planning for new equipment purchase and replacement
Designing and implementing high-quality, impactful simulation activities
• Coordinating the curricular integration of simulation throughout academic programs
• Designing continuing education opportunities for faculty development
• Ensuring instruction alignment with national professional standards
Identifying and executing quality assessments of program curriculum across disciplines
• Evaluating simulation experiences for alignment and reflection of curriculum
• Overseeing the collection of data on learning outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, health profession, or a related field.
• Three years of experience in a leadership position.
• Three years of teaching experience, including experience with simulation.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment for adult learners.
• Familiarity with use and maintenance of simulation equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in education, health professions, or related field.
